Return & Exchange Policy

At Readstax™, we want every reader to feel confident when ordering from us. While we carefully curate and deliver only original titles, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be needed. 

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once your order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.

2. Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns are accepted within 3 days of delivery.
  • Books must be in brand new condition — unused, unopened, and untampered.
  • Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping cost back to us, unless the item is incorrect or damaged.
  • Discounted items and Pre‑orders are not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Incorrect or Damaged Items

  • If you receive the wrong book or a defective copy, we will replace it promptly.
  • In these cases, Readstax™ covers the return shipping cost.
  • To help us resolve issues quickly, we may ask for photos or an unboxing video as proof of damage.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds for credit card payments are processed back to the same card within 14 working days, in line with banking procedures.
  • Refunds cannot be issued for books that are used, opened, or not in their original condition.

5. How to Request a Return or Exchange

If you need to return or exchange a book, please contact our support team so we can assist you with the process.

  • Email us at support@readstax.com with your order number, the reason for return, and any supporting details (such as photos if the item is damaged).
  • Our team will review your request and confirm whether it meets the policy conditions.
  • Once approved, we’ll provide you with the return authorization and instructions for shipping the book back to us.
  • If the item is incorrect or damaged, we’ll cover the return shipping cost. Otherwise, customers are responsible for return shipping.

We aim to respond to all return requests within 3 working days.
